Your first unboxing: take a little time
Unpack ceramics on a broad, dry surface. Remove protective layers one at a time rather than pulling a piece out of a stack, and keep small lids or accessories in clear view.
Compare the contents with your order and inspect rims, handles and connecting points. If something seems wrong, photograph the item and packaging, then contact the seller before using it.
Read the supplied instructions and clean the piece as recommended. Different ceramics may need different first-use care; soaking or heating should never be assumed to suit every product.
